Q. Is there a difference between Web services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)?

A. Service Oriented Architecture is an IT business system design methodology that is focused on reusability, breaking down silos, and enabling rapid and continual optimization of business processes. While a SOA can be implemented using a variety of technologies, usually the Web services standards and technologies are at the center of a SOA implementation.
